BMW Z4 insurance and safety features

Automotive.com rates the cost of owning a BMW Z4 for five years as 'above average' at $60,402. That figure includes the cost of insurance, maintenance, repair, fuel, financing (interest and fees), and state fees and charges.

The Z4 itself comes with a base starting price of right around $43,000. A two-seater, soft-top sports car with a huge price tag and an engine to match is not the kind of thing that anyone purchases because of the safety features. Expect to pay premium rates to insure the Z4, and drive carefully, because any tickets or accidents on a Z4 driver's record are going to push insurance costs much, much higher.
