Find Out How Much Money You Can Save on Insurance!

Hyundai Tiburon Insurance

Sometimes you want something that looks the role more than it actually performs the role – and if that is the case for you, then the Hyundai Tiburon may be the choice that doesn't have to make you choose between one and the other. The reality is: The Hyundai Tiburon is a sports coupe that looks the part. But, in addition to looking sportier – and possibly sexier –  than many of the comparable cars in its class, the Hyundai Tiburon also puts its best tire forward in the performance department.

Granted, the Hyundai Tiburon may not provide the exacting performance of high-end sports cars, but for a sporty coupe it holds up well, especially considering its estimated resale value of $7,308 to $13,967 and affordable insurance cost of around $134 a month, according to Automobile Magazine. There are some concerns that have included recalls (2003 model), which should be taken into consideration if you are an owner or if you are considering owning a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon. But all in all, the Hyundai Tiburon is an elegant car at an affordable price.

Hyundai Tiburon performance

You find nearly all the makings of a fine sports machine in the Tiburon. The beginning is a system built around a four-cylinder – or an optional V-6 – engine. The details, as always, depend on the model that you choose; the Tiburon has four to choose from. The 2003 model also had the first ever optional six-speed transmission. Anyone that enjoys driving probably knows the difference in experience between six and five or four. The new six speed option is made by Aichi in Japan. The struts on the 2003 embrace change as well. To provide better handling and simply a more fun driving experience changes like a switch from strut to multi-link setup on the rear have been performed.

Tiburon safety and insurance information

An unfortunate reality of this particular model is that the car has experienced a number of recalls. These are rather serious recalls as well. You should be able to have repairs and replacements done at no costs, but there may be details that result in costs.

Before purchasing the car, you may want to verify those details. The recalls include safety concerns, directly and indirectly. The safety belts and air bags are among the equipment that may require replacement. Other parts seem less related to safety, but their particular issues may result in injury. Other issues, such as faulty fuel tanks, may result in the car ceasing to function properly. It's important to note that most of these safety recalls pertain only to one particular model, the 2003 Tiburon, while newer iterations are much more reliable and safe – thus garnering lower insurance rates, on average.

Now that you've taken a look at all of the features and facts of the Hyundai Tiburon, do you think you're ready to purchase insurance? If so simply request a free quote for Hyundai Tiburon insurance right here!

Key Facts...
Almost two in three auto insurance shoppers used an online quote request in their most recent search. This contrasts with only 4% of auto insurance shoppers who purchased a policy at least five years ago. In 2009, one in every three consumers purchased a policy entirely online.
